Suzanne's Surgery

Well, as some of you know, Suzanne had her tonsils, adenoids and tubes put in her ears on Monday. Since we did this exact surgery with the same Dr. with Jack we all kinda knew what to expect. Suzanne was real nervous about the whole thing, but we kept it as positive as we could without lying to her that would would hurt. We had scheduled it accidentally on the same day that Jack was going back to school and I was starting to teach at SCAD. We tried but could not change to date. I had class Monday morning and could not be there during the surgery but Cindi's mom, Kathy really helped us out by staying an extra day to help get jack to school and help caring for Suzanne the first day out of surgery.

Everything went fine and as expected. Suzanne was really hurting after the surgery they gave her extra pain meds and that calmed her down. Cindi has been by her side for practically 72 hours straight and both are really tired. Suzanne is getting better day by day, but when you ask her how she's doing she put her head down and frowns shaking her head. She's very quite and eating and drinking cold stuff really good. She taking it the best she can. She misses not being in school. By the time she goes back to school it will have been a whole month of staying at home. That's all for now. Love to all.
