1st Day of Kindergarten & Pre-K

Today was a big day in the Montgomery Family. Suzanne had her 1st day of Kindergarten and Jack his first day of Pre-K. We were all very excited and prepared to start a new routine and meet lots of new friends. Everything went very good except a little traffic in the morning. We first took Suzanne across the Street to Bells Ferry Elementary and when as she got closer to the classroom she got a little scared by did not cry or anything. Jack did very well going to his 1st Pre-K class with the same teachers and classroom that Suzanne had at KinderCare. Not scared at all, ready and willing. He did not get at all sad giving goodbye's. Quite amazing since this is the first time he has ever been to a daycare or school or anything. We all have been preparing for this day all summer and were ready to get it started. No tears all around. Cindi and I went out for breakfast for a change at the Dunkin Donuts (we hardly ever get donuts). They day without the kids was kind of weird.
