Of Superheros and Princes

This morning Suzanne has a cold and isn't feeling well so we decided to keep her home. She is currently sitting at the kitchen table coloring (her favorite pasttime) while Jack rides his tractor round and round the house. He is wearing his spaceman helmet and a red cape. I overheard him ride up to Suzanne and say "You know why I'm wearing this cape and this helmet and riding my tractor?" Suzanne says, "Why?" And Jack replies, "Because I'm a superhero." To which Suzanne asks, "Well, do you have the power to change into a Prince?" "No," he says with his hands out, "'cause my power is all used up." Suzanne and Jack have the funniest way of answering every problem with the same simple solution to everything and it's said as if it were the simplest, most obvious answer. Suzanne says, "Well, just go get some more!" Then Suzanne points to the other room and says, "There's a place over there where you can buy more power, and they never run out. It's called "Power World." You can go over there and get your power all filled up. And then you can change into a prince and we can play princess." Jack replies with an enthusiastic "OK!" and rides off.... never to return. I had a good chuckle over that one thought you'd enjoy it too.
