Our family's recent history...

And history has been made in our family recently. We got the privilage of being in the company of both of my parents for July 4th and for Jack's 3rd Birthday Party. This is a first for Suzanne and Jack. My Mother, Dad, Gloria, Ed, Michele, Max, and Zoe all came for Jack's Birthday party. We were sad that Anna couldn't come too. I made a Choo Choo Cake and we had lots of fun playing in the water on the Slip n' Slide, in the pool, and with squirt guns. Then a week after they left town, my younger sisters and my niece came to visit. Sabrina has never met Suzanne or Jack before this week. We (Suzanne and I) visited with Samantha when Raven was just about 6 weeks old. But Samantha had never met Jack because I found out a few weeks after I returned home from that visit that I was pregnant with him! We all had a great time at the zoo, and playing in Max and Zoe's big pool. Yesterday Sabrina, Samantha, and Raven all came and played at our house. The girls played with Suzanne's dollhouse, and Barbie's for a long time then we ate dinner and had Jumping Contests and Danced with the Musini Music Maker. Raven really liked Suzanne's Love Me CHOU CHOU doll. Tomorrow we will leave for Nanne and Papa's house where we plan to celebrate Jack's birthday again with his cousin Alex, who shares July 22nd with Jack as their birthday. We plan to go swimming and hope to see 3 new calves in the feild near their house. In the span of a few short weeks Suzanne and Jack will have visited with every Grandmother, Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin they have. With the exception of Uncle Monty, whom we sorely miss in Iraq. I think we can call this July "Family Month." Good bye for now.

Here is a rare picture of most of the grandkids with Grandpa and Gloria Gardinier and Grandma. We were all waiting for the fireworks to start in Woodstock, GA. Click photo for larger view. Sometimes the smaller versions distort the details of the picture on screen.
