Happy Easter!

This was our first Easter just the four of us so I decided to make a non-traditional Easter feast! Field Green Salad with Raspberries, Fruit Salad, Chicken Cor Don Blue with Bernaise sauce, Beans and Carrots, Herbed Pull-apart Bread, Deviled Eggs, and Lemon Merengue Pie.

Below you will find a picture of the eggs we colored this year. We only color two each because that's as much as any of us will eat. Because we only color two each, we spend extra time on them and really try to make them special. Of course the kids were up at the crack of dawn, as per tradition, to hunt for Easter Eggs. Then we had Breakfast Casserole, and I had to go back to bed for an hour (product of staying up too late and getting up too early.)
Once it warmed up a little, the kids hunted bugs and went for a bike ride with Dad while I cooked and listened to 80's Punk/ New Wave music. I always have fun listening to that music, I just can't help it! This has been, in my opinion, an ideal Easter Sunday. Fun and relaxing! We hope yours has been the same.

Cindi forgot to mention that I also taught the kids how to fly their 2 kites, how to play baseball with their new bases and rubber baseball. They had a blast!
